Don’t order the club. I got two pieces of meat in my whole sandwich and mostly cheese and lettuce. It was horrible.Food: 1/5 | Service: 5/5

The food here is amazing. A very cozy diner. The wide variety of options make it a great place to dine. There is also a separate bar area, which is nice as well. There are always great desert choices and the cookies are great. The prices make it an amazing choice in Socorro. The cooks and waitress' are all so friendly. The only thing I get annoyed with is when we go there on a Monday or Tuesday when they aren't open. And another thing, you can get breakfast ALL DAY...YAY!!!

Step back in time at this roadside diner.….We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Carrizozo several years ago and were happy to see it still in business. Authentic New Mexico food. Hatch Chili can’t be beat. Friendly people. Nothing fancy but great food! Our family loved it.

My favorite place to eat in Socorro because of the consistency and generous portions. I know what to expect when I make an order here unlike other places in town where you never know what to expect depending on the cook. Service is hit and miss. Sometimes your server cares and sometimes they’re so overwhelmed you better stay out of their way. It’s usually good service though for the most part. I have a few favorites on the menu including the el Camino special burger, the smothered burger plate, the #8 double breakfast burrito plate, the #16 huevos rancheros with a beef patty and they have the best chile cheese fries in town.

Food is excellent and portions are generous. Wait staff is always friendly. Love the vintage 1950s road sign in the parking lot and the panelled dining room - it brings back memories of a simpler time. The fact that there are so many "locals" dining here means this place is a standby, and it's easy to understand why.

Wow! The food was amazing but I won’t lie I will be back for the atmosphere for sure! It was like we stepped into a classic movie scene. And just when the adorable diner was soaking in I walked back to “the lounge” and wished we were able to sit here and have a cocktail with some of the locals. Definitely make the stop if you are anywhere close by!

As I was driving through Socorro, New Mexico; I decided to try something different. I saw the sign and pulled in. It was definitely an older establishment. Didn’t know what to expect.Ordered the basic and traditional enchiladas with red chile. I’m glad I did.The food was super good and the prices were very reasonable. Plenty of food on the plate.I think the servers name was Nalina. She was very nice and polite. Even though they were short staffed, she was on it.If you’re ever driving through Socorro, NM; I would definitely recommend stopping in at this delicious place.. 👍
